A More Comfortable Space After Project Work

Renovation or construction can leave a home needing attention before it feels ready to use. Glow Team Cleaning can discuss the property condition and the cleanup tasks you want considered.
Share what work was completed and whether the project affected one room or several. A clear description helps the team understand the request.
    Confirm the Site Is Ready

    Confirm the Site Is Ready

Construction schedules can change, and contractors may still need access after a project appears finished. Tell the team whether workers, equipment, or materials remain in the space.
If more work is planned, share the expected timing before arranging cleaning. Activity after the visit may affect the condition of the rooms.

    Describe the Affected Areas

Identify the rooms where work took place and what you have noticed since the project ended. Photos or a room-by-room list can help explain the requested scope.
Mention surfaces that may need particular care and any areas that should remain untouched. These notes give useful context for reviewing the tasks.
    Discuss the Cleanup Tasks

    Discuss the Cleanup Tasks

Post-project requests can differ depending on the work completed and the condition of the property. List the tasks you want Glow Team Cleaning to consider and confirm what can be included.
Do not assume every construction-related cleanup task is part of the service. Discuss specific requests before scheduling so the scope is clear.

    Coordinate the Final Cleaning Window

Arrange access for a time when contractors and deliveries are not expected to interrupt the visit. If the project timeline shifts, update the team before the appointment.
Keeping the site details current helps you review a realistic schedule. Confirm the property will be accessible when the cleaning is planned.

One of the best things you can do is make sure there is as little clutter as possible. The cleaners will need to have access to surfaces to clean and if they are covered up by too much clutter, they may be inaccessible. Communicate with your cleaner(s) when they arrive (if you are home) and plan to make sure the cleaner has space to clean. Children, pets and other adults in the way can really hinder a job from being done in the best way possible. It can also be hazardous. Vacuum cords, cleaning products and supplies will be in the area with the cleaner and to mitigate accidents from happening it’s best to give them space.

It is completely up to you. If you will not be home, please provide clear access instructions, including any gate codes, lockbox details, keys, or alarm information. All cleaners follow our onboarding and insurance requirements.
